Q: Is there some type of rating for the overall RPG and site?
A: Nope. But don't litter Nightmare with porn! o_o
Q: Hm...Neutral Grounds...how can they be neutral if they don't like Vampires?
A: Neutral Grounds don't hate vampires (Nemesis their former Governor is half vampire). It's just certain cities lean more toward the good side than Nightmare's. The City of Vlad is just one of those view that ban vampires.
Q: So, what kind of people are there in the Happy Grounds?
A: The good people! :D They can vary from angels to regular humans. Rarely are those folks demons or monsters.
Q: How long does it usually take to have an Application reviewed?
A: Depends. But we will review the app within a week's time.
Q: Help! I can't seem to get my application to you!
A: If you can't through e-mail, try PMing me it in the Nightmare Forums (just make an account). And if you don't want to PM it to me for some odd reason, you can PM it to Ashura or Silent_Dragonet.
Q: Can people who don't want to be in the RPG (as of yet...maybe) join the forums?
A: Certainly. Nightmare's Forums are open to everyone. And for those who want to RP for the fun of it, you can do so in the Waiting Room. It's not only for Nightmare Role-players!
Q: Ack! This Application is so difficult! Can you make it shorter?
A: I already have. Considerably.
Q: Are the Phantom Toads NPCs?
A: Possibly...yes. These NPCs will only be played by staff members and Mods.
Q: Can I apply to be a Mod?
A: No. Me and the other Mods/Admins decide. So if you're a really good Rper that we think is responsible--you never know! We might casually talk about stuff and just suggest you out of the blue. Only members of the RPG can be Mods. But there is one exception and that is if you get accepted as a teacher. A player with a teacher character automatically gets to become a moderator.
Q: Mods? What do they do?
A: The responsibilities of the moderators have recently been altered. Basically they moderate certain forums for me and review applications along with the administrators if they wish. All players with staff characters are automatically made moderators. But they do not know everything.
Q: Admins? What do they do?
A: The Administrators help me run the site. They review applications with me, help me sort, discuss plot, etc. I currently only have two Administrators: Ashura and Selena. I might add some more later if this RPG gets really big.
Q: Why don't you want us applying as human (wizard) students?
A: Mainly because Nightmare Academy is an Academy for the wicked. Nightmare trains the antagonists and not the good guys. And because of that, humans often don't get in. As a human, you always have the danger of being eaten by the other students or even teachers(!).
Q: Help! I can't send my application! What do I do now?
A: Well if you can't send it to my e-mail, try my alternate one: yongjainyu@hotmail.com or PM me in the Nightmare Academy Fourms.
Q: So...when is the RPG opening officially?
A: Well it will take time since it is a big RPG that needs a lot of characters. If you want it to open quickly, I need Staffers and as well as a more diverse group of students. So apply for more characters if you can help it.
Q: Is this another Hogwarts RPG?
A: Yes and no. This is a parody of Hogwarts.
Q: So we can be anything we want?
A: No. For students, you have to be some type of creature or humaniod thing with some sort of hand and the ability to talk and think. Also, they must have the passion to be trouble makers and have some sort of evilness in them.
Q: Just what type of RPG is it?
A: A text-based RPG.
Q: How will we know if we sent you an app or not?
A: When I recieve it, I will send you back a message telling you that I got it. And if I'm away without computer access, you can send your app to another admin.
Q: Master Vlad? Is he the Vlad Dracul?
A: No, he is a vampire though. Also, I must warn those who want to apply for him, he may be based off Professor Snape, but he is not ugly or very bitter. In fact, he's the hottest teacher in Nightmare Academy and he knows that! So have fun with making him a conceited pretty boy.
Q: When applying for a teacher position, do we have to tell you who we're applying for in the app?
A: Not in the app. I actually want you to e-mail me that you're interested and which teacher you want to be. That is because the teachers already have certain things you don't have to make up for them (ie: Master Vlad is a vampire and Mr. Ted-ie is a talking mutant teddy-bear).
Q: What if I don't want to apply for a teacher or a student?
A: There are other positions up for grabs in the Academy itself. However, if you don't want to be associated with the school directly, you can apply to be an antagonist, a Happy Grounds member or someone that works in Dogscream.
Q: Can I kill others in the rpg?
A: Not without their permission.
Q: Can I make multiple characters?
A: I would love it if you did.
Q: Help! I can't find the answer to the true or false question!
A: You clearly haven't read this site well enough if you can't find that. There is a clue in one of the page's side content.
Q: Which parts of the app do you want me to take the most time on?
A: Personality and History MUST be in depth. I also want you to take your time on appearance. All those are essential for you and others to rp well.
Q: Do we get to pick which house our student character is in?
A: No. I, the headmistress, will sort you once you get an accept on your application.
Q: What are the conditions we must accept to be a teacher?
A: Yes. For one, if I find your teacher out of character in any way or defying something plot related, they are instantly ejected from the RPG. Also, if your role-playing posts are not fully literate, expect to be warned or perhaps ejected after offending these conditions the fourth time. Actually, I think I may include a prose writing for those who want to apply for teachers. Teachers are a HUGE part of the plot I have planned.
